The developer of Maximus, Jan-Jaap van Horssen, together with DGT, created a single board server to connect the DGT draughts boards to draughts programs like Dam 2.2, Truus, Flits and Kingsrow. With Dam 2.2 and Kingsrow it is even possible to take back moves or to setup positions. Owners of an electronic draughts board and one of the mentioned program can play against the computer.
The name of the software is Draughts Single Board Server version 0.1 (DSBS 0.1). Hopefully there will be more programmers that will use the electronic draughts board. Jan-Jaap van Horssen has given the KNDB the right of use of this software. The KNDB gives everybody the possibility to use this software. The software is 'as is', no user support will be given.
For live draughts events go to the Live Draughts website. (currently only available in Dutch language)
